All prices listed are BASE prices. Final cost will depend on the complexity of the commission.

Last Updated: December 29, 2025CLIENT USAGE RIGHTSFor PERSONAL commissions, the client has permission to:+ Post the commissioned work on their social media account(s) and share it online as long as credit to me (“@zukli_nova”) is provided.+ Use the commission work on one's social media as a profile icon or banner (credit must be provided if possible).+ Print and display the commissioned work in personal spaces.For COMMERCIAL commissions:+ Any intent to use my work for financial gain must be discussed with me beforehand. The commercial rights for my work are subject to additional costs up to three times the initial price.+ At this time, only an advertising commercial license is available. This means the use of the commissioned artwork on streams, video, promotional material and in other monetized contents.+ At this time, a merchandising commercial license is NOT available (ie. product cover illustration, membership assets, physical goods, digital goods, etc.)The following uses of commissioned work are PROHIBITED:+ Use of my work for AI (artificial intelligence) training, engines, and/or datasets.+ Unauthorized distribution of my work.+ Creation of derivative works. This includes but is not limited to: Gen AI, NFTs, defamatory edits, tracing, painting-over, and cropping/erasure of signature.+ Any resale, relicensing or exchange of my work in any way.+ Claiming the artwork as one’s own.

ARTIST (MY) RIGHTSI, the artist, own the full rights to the commissioned artwork. You, the client, only purchase the non-transferable usage rights, not the ownership rights of the artwork itself.I do NOT own the rights to the character(s) or other intellectual property featured in the artworks that are not of my creation, only the art itself.I, the artist have the right to:+ Use any and all commissioned work to promote myself, including but not limited to use on my social media platforms, portfolio, and as commission examples.+ Use any and all commissioned works of fanart for COMMERCIAL purposes.+ Share work in progress content online.+ Decline or to cancel your commission at any time for any reason, and that reason may not be disclosed should I choose not to. If applicable, a refund will be issued.

PAYMENTAll payment is done through PayPal invoices and paid in United States Dollars.Commissions under $30 are paid fully UPFRONT. Commissions over 30$ are paid 50% upfront and 50% on delivery.The 50% upfront is paid PRIOR to beginning of sketching and is NON-REFUNDABLE after sketching begins.The commission must be paid off in full before the final product can be delivered.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONSIf you request a cancellation, do NOT file a PayPal chargeback, I will send you the refund via PayPal.Cancellation during the sketching phase results in a 50% refund of the total commission price, depending on the completion and complexity of the sketch. If the commission had not been paid off in full at the time of cancellation, you will not be refunded.No refund will be issued after the beginning of the rendering phase.If I, as the artist, cancel your commission for any reason, you as the client will be refunded 60%-100% of the total price, based on its completion at the time of cancellation.

COMMUNICATIONAll communication will be done either through DMs or email.I will be notifying you of commission's progress regularly, most commonly during the sketching, rendering and coloring phase. I will NOT continue to work on the commission unless I get approval for the phase prior to ensure I'm on the right track.Please reach out if you want a commission update or have any questions/concerns.I value clear and honest communication and client satisfaction so please let me know if the commission is not going to your liking or if you need clarification of my process or anything in regard to the commission. I will attempt to answer any emails or DMs in a timely manner (but please allow up to 24 hours for me to reply before messaging me again).As a client, if you do not respond within a week's time, no progress will be made on your commission and it will be delivered as is.

TIME FRAMEThe completion time frame is dependent on its complexity and personal factors. Smaller semi-render pieces could be completed within a week while complex rendered pieces could take up to a month.Commissions are done in the order they are received, so the time only begins once I start working on the commission.If you wish for the commission to be done as soon as possible, a rush fee of a minimum 25% will be charged.

ADJUSTMENTS & ALTERATIONSDuring the sketching phase (composition and blocking out), you may request as many alterations as necessary.During the rendering phase, you may request up to 10 alterations as needed as long as it's within reason. Drastic changes to posing, perspective or outfits are not allowed. If drastic changes are needed, we will go back to the sketching phase, and you will be charged extra (10-20% of total price).Alternations after the rendering are NOT allowed. If getting a colored or tinted piece, adjustments are only allowed to the coloring / tinting and count as part of the initial 10.

EXTRA FEESExtra fees are subjective and are dependent on client demands and commission complexity as I deem it. The following will incur extra fees:+ Rush Jobs (25-75%),+ Extra alterations/adjustments,+ Drastic compositional changes,+ NDA (short time (up to a month after start of commission) +20$, long term (over a month to 6 months after start of commission) +50$, over 6 months after start of commission +100$).+ Difficulty of subject matter.

DELIVERYThe final product will be delivered through email for ultimate quality as DMs tend to compress images. The final illustration will be in PNG format at 300dpi with canvas size average of ~8.5in by ~11in (the width to height ratio will depend on the work).The artwork will contain two signatures, one in the corner and another within the piece. These signatures cannot be cropped out, erased or distorted when sharing the artwork online unless in use as a profile picture or banner where cropping is extreme.Upon completion, if the total price had not been paid off, you will receive a second invoice for the other 50% with a pixelated low-resolution of the artwork as proof of completion. Once the artwork has been paid in full you will receive the full resolution illustration via email.

By commissioning me you agree to these terms. Breach of ToS will result in permanent blacklisting and deletion of your commission with zero refund. I have the right to pursue legal action if the commission is used in ways prohibited by the ToS or different from the initial agreement.
